Test of Professional Eligibility. For students planning to enroll in the Indian CPA program, the FICPA Professionals Council administers the PET admission exam. The professional eligibility test concentrates on evaluating the students’ fundamental and core understanding of Accounting, Logical Reasoning, Business Laws, and Communicative English.
Steps to Follow under PET
- Register with the Institute FICPA PROFESSIONALS COUNCIL while studying in class XI and XII.
- Students after passing class XII examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto, can register for PROFESSIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST Course if not done earlier.
- Students can appear in the PROFESSIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST Examination – (i) After appearing in the senior secondary (10+2) examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto. (ii) After completing 4 months’ study period from the date of passing the class XII or senior secondary (10+2)
Level of Executive Assessment. For students in the chosen streams, the FICPA Professionals Council administers the EAL as the first stage of the examination process. For the Professional Stream that the students chose, the Executive Assessment Level focuses on teaching Technological Skills, Relevant Software Skills, and Working Level Knowledge. economics or business studies.
The Professional Assessment Level is a chartered accountant course. It is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required for accountants to take the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. The course is suitable for students who have already received an undergraduate degree, but may not have studied economics or business studies.
